Origins

The Luppitt Landscape Partnership (LLP) was formed in 2023 in response to the opportunity to bid to Defra in the second round of the Landscape Recovery scheme. The LLP is a farmer- and landowner-led initiative, independent of external organisations, while benefitting from a network of advice and support from local agencies, NGOs and individual experts.

Luppitt as a community has a long history of working collaboratively, communicating across a diversity of backgrounds, and caring for land in common. Landscape Recovery is a natural next step, giving Luppitt’s land owning and managing community the opportunity to explore a future where farming works with nature for the common good.
